Supporting Social & Emotional Health & Well-Being

At South Bay Children’s Health Center (SBCHC), we understand the importance of social, emotional, behavioral and psychological health and well-being for children, teens, and young adults. We offer a range of mental health programs designed to provide support, build resilience, and connect individuals with the resources they need to thrive.

Child Guidance Clinic

SBCHC’s Child Guidance Clinic, through our partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, provides high-quality, specialty mental health services to address the social, emotional, behavioral and psychological needs of children, adolescents and their families.

We strive to improve the emotional health and functioning of our clients by offering a full range of diagnostic and treatment services.

We rely on a synergistic team that includes Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, a Psychologist and a Psychiatrist.

To maximize treatment outcomes, we use clinical interventions grounded in evidence-based best practices to effectively treat specific issues.
